How can I find them? |

All of materials could be access from CMUL OPAC Database except audiovisual |
|
| |
collection which are available from CMU Medlib CD-ROM Database |

Where are they placed ? |

| |
|
Basic Textbooks / Special Textbooks / Examination guidances / Government |
|
| |
Publications/Research Report publications and current periodicals are placed on 6th |
|
| |
floor of the building (the main entry of library is also on this floor). |
|
| |
|
Rare Books / Thesis Publications and Books which publiced before 1987 were |
|
| |
placed on 5th floor (use inside library stair to 5th floor or contact library staff to pick |
|
| |
them up for you) |

| |
|
Before current year journals and bounds are placed on 7th floor. |
|
| |
|
CD-ROM / DVD and all audiovisual collections are in close stacks. Users should |
|
| |
search for exact detail from CMU Medlib CD-ROM Database and borrow them at |
|
| |
circulation desk. |

All members of CMU staffs and students who have identity card or smart card will |

be generated as the borrower’s barcode on their cards. |
|
| |
|
Proof of continued studying physicians (medical residents) will be issued a |
|
| |
borrower’s card by bringing 1 photo and fill in member’s form at the Circulation |
|
| |
Counter. |

| |
|
Visiting scholar or lecturers for a short period will be identified by official letter from |
|
| |
their Faculty’s Department for using library services. |
|
| |
|
Please present the borrower’s card everytime in borrowing materials. |

Information Literacy Services are usually organized for medical students and other |

health sciences students including graduated students and medical staffs around the |
|
| |
year to getting better their library (Library Orientation and Training Courses). |

We also provided special information as particular works, such as: |

Road Show to Faculty Departments for academic staffs, physicians, graduated |
|
| |
|
students to know the new library services, understand the exited services and learn |
|
| |

how to access medical online databases, etc. |

Liaison Service or Outreach service provides the especially needed information to |

each specify researcher for help his scholarly works. |

ILL Service is rendered to both our users and the libraries’ requests from around the |

country in photocopies, the transferred PDF files or reprints from authors. |

Under the SEAMIC’s subsidization, the library pass the request for articles to |
|
| |
Japanese University Medical School Library via the Focal Point : Mahidol University |

Academic staffs, physicians, graduated students of Faculty of Medicine are able to |
