Invitation to 2nd IASCBC

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Anatomy Association of Thailand (AAT) and the Department of Anatomy, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, it is our great pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you to participate in the 2nd International Anatomical Sciences and Cell Biology Conference (IASCBC 2012) in conjunction with the 36th Annual Conference of the Anatomy Association of Thailand (AAT 36) on December 6-8, 2012 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

The Scientific Committee structures a program that will cover all contemporary key aspects of the Anatomical Sciences integrated with Cell Biology and related fields. The scientific program has a lot to offer to the various subspecialties in our discipline and also covers general topics which will be of interest to many. It is an occation to keep abreast of new development in the field of Anatomical Sciences and Cell Biology and also to share aspects of your own work. Besides research, a major focus will be on medical education, especially with regard to exploring new horizons for the teaching of human anatomy. The conference will provide a platform for networking with colleagues and for catching up with old acquaintances.

The audiences will experience and enjoy not only to a journey through the latest developments of the scientific field, but also the actual journey in Chiang Mai, one of the most attractive cities in Thailand. With its more northern latitude and higher elevation, Chiang Mai enjoys a cooler climate than the stifling central plains near Bangkok. The cool season lasts from early December to February abd is the most popular time to visit Chiang Mai. December is a particularly festive month with a national celebration of the birthday of the King on December 5. King’s birthday or Father’s Day is a national holiday and is celebrated all over the country with great enthusiasm and many special events. Father’s Day in Thailand is truly wonderful as it not only blesses a great man, but also every father in the country. On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to express our strong belief the participating in the IASCBC 2012 will be an experience to remember.

Looking forward to welcoming you in Chiang Mai in December 2012.
